Eldership		Rosemary Ryan contact via the church office: (08) 8231 9559 elders(at)themarketplace.net.au Working in human services and adult education for most of my life has given me the passion for every person to reach the potential God has created them for — His Glory. Through many failures and many sucesses my journey to heaven is at this present time with a great community at MPC, who support me to keep changing to be more like Jesus. My children and grandchildren are so supportive of the work I have done here and overseas, it is a delight to pursue my passions. In the moments when not working, I love to write, read, walk, and garden, all of which I learn so much from. My favorite bible passages are 2 Cor 5:14–6:2, Phil 2:1–11, Is 53, 1 Tim 1:1–17, Heb 12:1–13.
Youth Minister		Ruby Lai 0413 822 750 ruby(at)themarketplace.net.au Every day I am in awe of God’s grace and mercy. The knowledge that we don’t make the cut, but He loves us so much He found a way to make sure we could make the cut, is so overwhelming. My passion is for young people to believe that God has made them exactly as He intended. No more. No less. And I would love to see young people live everyday with such excitement to discover and nurture who God has made them to be. Apart from being in youth ministry, I also spend part of my time at Lockleys Primary School as their Christian Pastoral Support Worker. I love supporting everyone in the school and being a part of such a vibrant community. Coming from the tropical islands of the Philippines I love being on the beach and soaking up the sun. I also enjoy reading, dancing, and date nights with my husband Samuel. At this season of my life there are two verses that I hold close to my heart. They are Luke 12:48 and Philippians 4:13. These verses both keep me grounded and inspired.
Executive Minister		Brian Stanford 0404 449 208 brianstanford(at)themarketplace.net.au A few years ago I thought had retired and looked forward to spending time with my wife Gaynor, our two kids and their families. Well God had other ideas! After a very rewarding and senior career in adult education, God opened up new opportunities to explore and serve Him in my number one love, His Kingdom. I served for several years as minister and encourager in a rural community and now feel empowered as the one who keeps the organisation of MPC ticking over from behind the scenes. I love reading, walks, trips with my beloved Gaynor and anything to do with my 6 wonderful grandchildren. The verses that influences me in this season of my life is Jude 24–25.
Kids Minister		Katherine Stanford kids(at)themarketplace.net.au I grew up knowing all about God and Jesus, but had never really met Him personally until I was in my late teens. His love and acceptance blew me away and I have not stopped seeking to live the life He wants for me ever since. I am married to Bronte, have 3 incredible and individually different children and love camping, movies and staying home with good book when I get the chance. My passion is seeing every child see themselves how God does and believing that they can change the world. The verse I find inspiring is Jeremiah 29:11.
Music Coordinator		Samuel Lai ialeumas(at)gmail.com I believe I would not have a past, present or future if I did not have the resurrected Jesus in my life. It certainly is a daily decision to follow Him and I must admit there are days when I perhaps forget about God or decide to do life in my own strength. But I thank God that He loves me unconditionally and I know that I can always come back to Him. He always reminds me of the reason why I am still alive as He reminded all of us in John 3:16: “For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” Because of God’s unconditional love what else wouldn’t I give to Jesus and to others?
